It uses polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) as a gentle alternative to AHAs and BHAs, making it suitable for even sensitive skin. Incorporating next-generation polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) of Gluconolactone and Lactobionic Acid, both are antioxidants and, due to their larger molecular structure, have a more gradual, gentle exfoliating action, making them suitable for daily use on all skin types.
PHAs are particularly suitable for ageing and dehydrated skin as they are also a great humectant and help support the collagen matrix, restore skin's barrier function and protect against collagen degradation.
The Willowberry PHA Liquid Exfoliator also contains Pumpkin Enzyme, another gentle exfoliator for enhanced cellular renewal, which is also a good source of Vitamin A and softens, exfoliates and smooths skin.
The exfoliants in the formulation are combined with soothing and hydrating ingredients of Aloe Vera, Chamomile Water, Cucumber Fresh Juice Extract, skin-plumping Hyaluronic Acid and an Amino Acid Blend with moisturising, strengthening, repairing and antioxidant properties, to help soothe, hydrate and protect skin as it exfoliates.
